Good communication and organisational skills regarding the group, local tour leaders, and Dragoman Overland Headquarters in UK.
A passion for travel and learning about new places, people, cultures and traditions.
Resourcefulness. You will be working in parts of the world where the availability of fresh food, truck parts, and communication facilities are not always as accessible as in the developed Western world.
Flexibility. As a trip leader you will face numerous challenges, many of which will need solving at very short notice. The nature of Dragoman Overland trips means that most of the challenges you will be faced with will be unpredictable but always exciting. This may involve last minute changes to a trip itinerary due to a change in local conditions, emergency truck repairs, or using your negotiating and haggling skills at borders or markets!
Teamwork with a fellow crew member is essential when working for Dragoman Overland. Encounter style trips work differently and involve you working on your own.
